We have developed a unique locking and low threshold system, Secure4Life, tested to PAS 24 which meets Lifetime Homes guidelines and is Part M & Document Q approved.
Our “patent pending” patio door locking and low threshold system has been innovatively designed to offer a cost-effective, high security, easy to use, versatile system for residential and commercial patio doors.
For safety and security, the Secure4Life locking system meets Document Q of Building Regulations having been both independently tested to PAS 24 .
As long as your patio doors are approved and suitable, fitting them with Secure4Life leaves you with an end product that can resist physical attack by being sufficiently robust, offering end users peace of mind.
The fully fabricated aluminium interlock features a highly secure 3-point locking mechanism and is completed with 3 pairs of 304-grade stainless steel interlock protectors for a unique sliding door security solution.
To ensure ease of use for all, the Secure4Life low threshold meets the recommendations of the Disabled Discrimination Act, fully conforms to Part M of Building Regulations and meets the guidelines set out by the Lifetime Homes initiative.
Secure4Life meets these regulations as it features a small, ergonomically designed lever located 900mm above the floor. This means that it can be easily accessed by all, including wheelchair users, offering comfort and convenience to families and individuals throughout the stages of life.
Secure4Life is suitable for use in both PVCu and aluminium patio doors and is tailored to suit individual manufacturer’s designs.
